Jessica Burke

Jessica Burke (J.B.) is an Associate Professor of Art and Foundations Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. An artist working across installation, drawing and digital media, she examines world-building and its relationship with issues of identity. Her work has been widely exhibited nationally and internationally. She has been an artist-in residence in Cork, Ireland; Key West, Florida; Cove Park, Scotland and in Budapest, Hungary. Her drawings have been published in Manifest’s International Drawing Annual (INDA) 13; Studio Visit Magazine and North Light Book’s Strokes of Genius 9: The Best of Drawing.
